RULES
FOR RUN4ALIFE
- The Wigan Rotary run4alife event is open to all, however please remeber that
due to Health & Safety And Insurance reasons we need to make sure that the race
does not go over capacity.
- The Wigan Rotary run4alife is able to accept entries on the
day of the event. However we need everyone to complete an entry form and pay the
appropriate entry fee. Due to Health & Safety and Insurance reasons
we need to make sure that the race does not go over capacity. We also
need to ensure we have contact details for all participants in case
of an emergency.
- By taking part, all participants confirm that they are happy for
their names and any footage or photographs taken during their participation
in the Wigan Rotary Run4alife to be used to publicise the event, including
television broadcasts.
- All participants must write their name and details of any health
problems or medication on the reverse of their race number, which must
be worn on the front of shirts during the race.
- In case of emergency Wigan Rotary Club may use details provided
by you to contact home or workplace.
- Any participant unsure of their physical ability to take part in
the Wigan Rotary run4alife should take advice from a general practitioner
prior to the event.
- All participants enter this event entirely at their own risk and
Wigan Rotary Club shall not be liable for any injury or loss that might
occur as a result of their participation other than as a result of
Wigan Rotary Club's negligence.
- Absolutely no pets, baby strollers/prams, or roller blades/skates
are allowed on the course. Spectators are asked to keep all pets on
a lead.
- We strongly advise that all participants and volunteers under the
age of 18 are accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. We can
take no responsibility for under 18's on the day.
- Wigan Rotary Club reserve the right to request proof of age.
- All monies raised in connection with the Wigan Rotary run4alife
must be passed to Wigan Rotary Club by 31st December 2011.
- Please send all cheques/money orders payable to Wigan Rotary Club
run4alife to Wigan Rotary Club, P O Box 507, Standish, Wigan WN1 9AB
- You have a legal responsibility to ensure that all sponsorship monies/donations
received by you for the Wigan Rotary run4alife are paid to the Wigan
Rotary Club
- If the race is full or closed and you have already posted or Emailed
your entry fee, your fee will be returned.
- Use of the run4alife website is subject to the run4alife website
terms & conditions
